Oasis Course 1: Sapphire 101

Hello and welcome to the first Oasis related course!

Today, we’re diving into hands-on development on Sapphire.

Who am I?

My name is Matevž 

I’m a software engineer at Oasis.

I mainly work on the documentation and also various other tools like the Oasis CLI (the Oasis command line interface).

The CLI has wallet capabilities, allows you to manage your nodes, check the network status, and check out the blocks. 

I also work on other statistical tools. For example I wrote a bunch of tests for the Oasis core and for the paratimes as well as a bunch of other learning materials.

Today we’re going to start building with sapphire
